What We Believe

We are a nondenominational church.  We are an independent Church of Christ, patterned after the New Testament example where Christ is head of His Church.  Where the bible speaks we speak, and where the bible is silent we are silent.  We believe that there is only one true God that is the Creator of all things and that He exists in three forms...as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth".

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God."

We believe that the Word of God, the Holy Bible, is the inspired and eternal Word of God. We exalt Jesus Christ and glorify Him and not mankind.

II Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Colossians 1:18 "And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence."

I Corinthians 2:5 "That your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God."

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He came to earth through virgin birth via the Holy Spirit.  We believe he took the form of a babe, and later walked this earth as a man to live as a perfect example for all, and that He ultimately died on the cross of Calvary as an unblemished sacrifice.  We believe He died for the sins of the entire world (past, present & future) and was buried in a borrowed tomb.  He then resurrected from the dead on the third day, and we believe that He now sits at the right hand of The Father, and is coming back again to be reunited with His Church and those that have been faithful to Him.  We believe He is coming SOON.

John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
